My story of loss is a short one. I knew I was pregnant for only two weeks before the bleeding started. I experienced an early miscarriage, but I've learned over time that no matter when loss happens, it hurts.
It can hurt after a while of not hurting. It can hurt out of the blue, bringing tears for seemingly no reason.
Loss affects us all. It may look different on the outside, but inside we hurt.
Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Tonight at 7pm I will light a candle to remember my baby who didn't make it and all the babies. I will think of what could have been and I will probably cry. (Let's be honest, I'm crying right now.)
