Still catching up on the books I've read recently.
Still Writing by Dani Shapiro was a lot about writing and a bit about the author's life. It was a nice break from the fiction I normally read, but I was quite ready to be done reading it well before the book was finished. That's not to say is wasn't an interesting read or didn't have a lot of useful information for a wannabe writer, it was and it did. It definitely piqued my interest and I'll be looking up her other books.
Would I recommend it? Maybe. Are you a writer and want some inspiration? Or to read words of encouragement and been-there-done-that of an established and well-published author? Then go for it. It's not a long book and doesn't take long to read.
Next up: The Matched trilogy by Ally Condie
