Wordless Wednesday and iPPP: The Polaroid Generation

I heard on the radio about how this generation of kids is going to be forever known as the digital kids, just like there were the polaroid kids. A whole generation of kids caught only on Polaroid film. Interesting.

Now we have apps to create images quickly, easily, and often for free, any way we'd like. Do we ever print them though? Do you? I have dreams of creating photobooks, one for every year, but it hasn't happened yet.

  1. The last couple of years I have done a "summer of awesome" photo book at the end of summer, when the kids go back to school. I use Shutterfly and it's pretty easy - upload your photos, pick a theme, drag-and-drop the photos you want onto each page. Add a page caption if you like. That's it!

I have to admit though - they rarely get looked at, except by me. I love them - I page through them all the time, and every summer it's fun to look back and get ideas for things we'd like to do again. But I had visions of the kids poring over them - they have a quick look when it arrives but that's about it. Maybe when they're older they'll love them more...in the meantime, I certainly do!
