I read The Hunger Games books in April 2012, two years after the third and final book was published. I was captivated by the dystopian world created by Suzanne Collins and appalled at the premise of The Hunger Games. It is literally a battle to the death. The players? Teenagers from each district.

I watched the movie not long ago with J, who hadn't read the books. Like a lot of books made into movies, I liked the movie but wished it was longer. I wished it had more of the details from the book, even though I know that's impossible. It was fun to see the book come to life and I love the actors they chose.

If The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second movie, stays true to the book and is anything like the first movie, I'm sure I'll like it. It comes out November 22nd so I'll get a chance to watch it in about a year with my track record. You can see the trailer here.

Right now I have a fun giveaway. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire comes out November 22nd and I have a prize pack to give away to one lucky reader! The prize pack includes a t-shirt, a poster, an iPhone cleaner and dot, and wristbands.
Part of the prize pack.
It's easy to enter, just leave a comment and use the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favour.
