Wordless Wednesday and iPPP: Butterflies over the years

I just can't help myself: when I have practically the same shot year after year, I NEED to see them together. I think it's so adorable.

We've been to see the butterflies at Carleton for 3 years now. It makes me sad to know that Little J will be in school full days next year and won't be able to come. The next two years will be just me and Little K.

  1. When those days are slipping away -- it does seem sad. But there will be plenty of great field trips to chaperone once they hit school age. And those butterflies are awesome.

    1. I know - the next chapter of our lives. I'm not used to the idea that my little guy is in school! He had his first field trip earlier this week!

  2. Massive butterflies would make me cry too!
When my son started school, it was really hard to let go. But you know what? That's why weekends are so special. Enjoy every minute with him :)

    1. It's true, weekends take on new meaning, though I expect it'll be more so next year when he's in school full days. We have a transition year of half days!

  3. Aww, so cute! Maybe you'll just have to take him out of school that day next year. It won't hurt him! :)
