Wordless Wednesday and #iPPP: Singing in the rain

Jumping in puddles.
We were in the grocery store and the grocery store has a clothing section. We were walking by on our way to get yogurt when something caught the kids' eye. Umbrellas! And boots! And I WANT THAT!

Now, please don't think that I buy everything that my kids want ever. It doesn't happen. But neither of them had rubber boots that fit and neither has ever had an umbrella. And THEY'RE SO CUTE!

The kids are so happy with their boots and umbrellas. They were hoping for rain and couldn't wait to play outside. Adorable.

I can't get over how cute Little K is!

Tried to tell them opening an umbrella inside was bad luck. They didn't care.

Outside! In the rain!

You know, just going for a walk with their umbrellas.

They were so over having their picture taken.

Kinda makes me want a fun and colourful umbrella even though I really don't like them. Umbrellas in general I mean.

  1. AWESOME! Lil Duck has several umbrellas and boots that coordinate with all of them. Like you, I find it adorable and am happy to indulge the imagination whim. I go so far as to spray the hose to "make it rain" so she can use her umbrella and boots.

    1. Oh man, I'm going to have to get out the hose!

  2. Hah, there goes my idea for little J's birthday present. Really cute umbrella boots though! Back to the drawing board :-)

  3. My guys find umbrellas irresistible, too. This reminds me that I have to make sure we have rain boots for the Fall, too. :)

  4. LOVE the leopard print. I want those boots and that umbrella for myself :)

  5. Love that they're hoping for rain! It's all about perspective. And of course you couldn't say no to that cuteness.

    1. We got lots of rain right after so they were happy.

  6. That is ADORABLE! My girls have a princess umbrella (they had two, but broke one. Of course), and I have a polka dot one. Rubber boots, however, they usually all have a pair. Even though they can't really wear them to school unless they pack gym shoes. My preschooler went through a phase where pretty much all she wore was rain boots!

    1. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of boots (because of them not being wearable inside) but it makes puddle jumping much easier.

  7. Uhm... I kinda want your daughter's boots and umbrella. Is that bad?!
