Little J, Little K and friend Little C rocking the plunger, paint and paper at playgroup.

Playing: We went to playgroup this morning for the first time since it moved outside. I depend on playgroup in the winter months to get the kids out of the house and around other kids, but not so much in the summer. It was good though and I'm glad we went. Who would have ever thought to paint with plungers?

Reading: I've been reading so many books lately. The Fault In Our Stars, The Age of Miracles, The Delirium books. Right now I'm reading The Silver Linings Playbook and I have Beautiful Creatures on standby. It's been a good summer for reading.

Watching: The only live show I'm watching these days is So You Think You Can Dance and I've decided that I want to learn how to dance. I don't know how to do that, whether I should look for city programs or a dance studio. Hell, I'm not even sure what style I'd like to do, but I want to learn so I'm going to figure something out. I also started Orange is the New Black... have you seen it? I had only heard of it and didn't know the first thing about it and was shocked with the number of boobs I saw in the first 5 minutes. Now that I know it's a show about life in prison from the same woman who created Weeds I'm not surprised. I also finally watched The Vow, a movie I started on the plane back in November, and am pleased with how it ended.

Listening to: I decided I needed a break from my usual alternative rock radio station and switched over to a more pop-y one. I can't explain it but I needed a change. I think the kids like the music a bit better too.

Thinking about: Little J's birthday and my brother's wedding and all the other summer/early fall birthdays and Little J starting school. This is a big couple of months for us and I am armed with many many lists. I just hope I don't forget something important.

Thinking about: A change in diet, specifically going gluten-free. It's not something I have to do because of an allergy or an intolerance, but it's something that makes sense (I feel enlightened after reading Wheat Belly). It isn't an easy change and I would miss like crazy a lot of my favourite foods so I'm holding off. Well, I'm in a holding pattern: I'm still eating gluten but I'm not buying more of the biggest culprits and I'm not sure I will. Big decision.

So that's my life in a nutshell. Here is Danielle's latest currently post over at Sometimes Sweet. Go check out her blog.. she's about to have baby #2!
