I have a post to write, an exciting, important one, but I'm procrastinating. It's bad. This blogging thing can be so strange and mostly I do this for me, so I have something to look back on, but sometimes I have other reasons. And this post is for another reason and I'm trying to figure out how to write it so that it's still me. I  need it to be for me most of all.

In related news, blogging about blogging isn't helpful, is it? So I was happy to see a Currently post from Dani Hampton. Inspiration and motivation!

Reading: A book about nurses and doctors and who really knows. It's one I was given and I read through all the internet-recommended library books I had. I almost didn't read it because of the cover (I know!) but it's okay and interesting, just not at the same level as what I've been reading lately.

Watching: I'm making my way through Switched at Birth, which is really neat because about half the characters are deaf so there are scenes in every episode that are completely silent but with frantic signing. It's teenage drama with sign language thrown in. I'm also keeping up with Grey's Anatomy, New Girl, The Mindy Project, and Modern Family. And just tonight I started the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

On my mind: This may sound silly but lately I've been thinking a lot about how we use technology and how everyone uses it differently. Like email for example. I use Gmail and right there we might be different, but even if you use Gmail too, you probably don't do it the same way I do. And then there's the internet in general and Facebook and Twitter and whatever else. It's crazy to think that it's the same technology but no one else does it exactly the way I do.

Doing: I'm back to running and it feels good. I just needed to sign up for a race to get myself back out there.

Missing: Drinking a Pepsi in the afternoon. It's time to give it up. I did this last year and lasted for a while, months, so I'm doing it again. The beginning is tough though.

Loving: How affectionate my kids are. They are always telling me they love me, that they missed me, giving me hugs and kisses. They also love on Sandy, maybe a bit too much for her liking, but they're so gentle normally.

Now that this is out there I'll get to writing that post I need to write. And figuring out who won the OutGROW OutPLAY giveaway that ends tonight!
