14 months

That's Baby K pushing her bear in the toy stroller. Normally there are a few other things in there as well and she'll even get in from time to time.

We moved Baby K over to a convertible car seat this month. She is very go-with-the-flow and this was no exception. She seems to like being able to look out the window better. Baby K loves singing and dancing and demands I sing to her. If I sing the wrong song, she furrows her brow and shakes her head until I get the right one. Problem is I have no idea what she wants so I tend to sing a few until she seems happy. We've been to the park a few times and she surprised me by playing in the sand after a few times of utter disgust at getting her hands dirty. She still wants her hands wiped if she falls and gets them dirty. She also always wants a kiss on her hand if she hurts herself, even if it isn't her hand she hurt. Bump on the head? Kiss my hand please! She is also very maternal and loves the few baby dolls we have and loves pushing around the toy stroller. She is getting quite good at the ride on cars we have outside and will ride one to the end of the driveway only to get off and go get another. Let's take out all the toys!

Baby K loves walking backwards and is getting better at going up and down the stairs. She has started signing a few words.

Baby K is getting better at eating and not gagging. She is still nursing before nap time and bed time and during the night, but is drinking homo milk and eating well during the day.

Baby K has a communication explosion this month. She started saying CA for cat, HA for hat, CA for car and BA for ball. More recently she said BUBBLES loud and proud. What can I say, the girl loves bubbles. She also signs MORE PLEASE, WATER, MILK, GRAPES, CRACKERS, I LOVE YOU. She shakes her head no and nods her head yes. She also has a cute way of asking us to sing and tries to do the actions to itsy bitsy spider. She can point to her nose and belly button.

Baby K is down to one nap a day but has a hard time staying awake some mornings. She actually fell asleep in her chair at lunch the other day.

No change: 12-18 month clothing, size 5 shoe, same snap settings on her diapers. (Exactly what I wrote last month.)

The sickness just will not go away and it's wearing me out.
