Getting to know you

It's time again for Getting To Know You and since I have Baby K sleeping on my chest in my new wrap (eee!) I have a chance to post. Check out MannLand5's blog to link up.

1. Do you weigh yourself?

I don't have my own scale but I do weigh myself whenever I get the chance. Being pregnant so much lately (18 months in the past two and a half years) has affected my body so much and seeing the numbers go up and back down and up and down again, to me, is really neat. Pregnancy is my own little science experiment but now that I'm not pregnant and the number on the scale didn't go as far down as I expected, it's a little blah.

2. What's the nastiest thing you've ever eaten?

Probably the time a bug flew into my mouth and when I was trying to get it out I bit it. It exploded and the taste was absolutely disgusting. I felt gross for hours and hours. Otherwise, I eat regular people food.

3. Snail mail or email?

Email all the way. I like to get mail and I like to write, but I don't like to write letters when email is right there and I don't get ink on my fingers when I type (thank you, lefthandedness).

4. Do you have any irrational fears.. what are they?

It's not necessarily irrational, but I really don't like spiders.

5. Do you play an instrument?

I used to play piano and trumpet and have tried the guitar. Oh, and there was that recorder concert we did back in grade 6. I would love to be half-way decent at the guitar.

6. Would you rather be bitten by a snake or attacked by a bear?

Considering I would most likely survive a snake bite, especially in Canada, we'll go with that.

7. Do you ever go braless in public?

Because I'm nursing, I only go without a bra in the shower these days. When I'm my regular self, still no, a bra is a must.

8. Today I am thankful for...?

My new Sleepy Wrap!

  1. That sleepy wrap looks so cool! I am lefthanded too...what a mess, my hands were permanently ink stained in university from writing notes.
