Getting to know you, back from vacation

I look forward to Sundays because I always know I'll have something to post about. My plan is to get better at posting but we all know what they say about the best made plans.... Either way, here is my Getting To Know You post for the week.

1. Have you ever snooped around someone else's house?

I have a big thing about privacy so I've never snooped, but I think anything lying out is fair game so I look around at everything.

2. Can guys and girls be friends? ( thanks Jen!)

Huh? Yes.

3. Can you curl your tongue?

Yes! I remember as a kid learning about this and going around asking everybody I knew.

4. Have you ever stolen anything?

I almost did the other week. I had Baby J in the store with me and I gave him a mouth guard to hold on to. I forgot he had it and almost walked out of the store with it.

5. Would you rather talk on the phone or text?

Email. I know that isn't an option, so I'll go with talk on the phone, but that might be different if our cell phone plan included text or if I have a fancy phone with a full keyboard. I hate scrolling though the number keys to get to all the letters.

6. Memorial Day plans?

I'm in Canada so no.

7. What do you do to relax?

Put the baby to bed and do something for me. Unfortunately this often involves cleaning or some other chore. Why is getting groceries by myself downtime?

8. Do you do anything to honor those that have died fighting for our freedom?

Not really other than wearing a poppy around Remembrance Day.

  1. I was and am fascinated about the tongue rolling thing in terms of genetics... and ear lobe attachment (whether they are attached at the bottom or unattached). It was one of the first things I took note of when Hayden was born: whether his earlobes were attached or unattached. They are unattached (like mine - Randy's earlobes are attached).

  2. Laughing about the grocery comment. Funny how doing chores ALONE almost counts as relaxing.

  3. Is it sad that I dream of the day when I can go grocery shopping along?! What a luxury that will be, lol
