Getting to know me, Mother's Day edition.

You know the drill. Kelly from MannLand5 asks questions and I answer. Let the good times roll. (Did I really just type that?)

1. What has been your most memorable Mother's Day?

This one because it's my first! So far, it started out early. I'm spoiled and normally get to sleep in on the weekends but I got up with Baby J this morning. Grumbled in my head about the early hour, but was okay once I woke up. Got him to nap and made myself pancakes. Fingers crossed there's a little something waiting for me somewhere.

2. Have you ever been pulled over for speeding and were you able to talk your way out of it?

Too many times to count. Seriously. I've only been pulled over twice without getting a ticket and neither time was because I talked my way out of it. Once though was really funny. I was in the US for a baseball tournament. I drove with three other girls. Our hotel was right off a highway. The turning lane was painted with lines and the word NO over and over. We thought it was great fun to drive in the turning lane yelling NO! every time we drove over one. The cop didn't think it was funny and also didn't think my Ontario license was funny. I think he didn't ticket me because he didn't want to deal with me. Good times.

3. What's the oldest thing you have hanging in your closet?

I'm big on getting rid of things that don't fit or I don't like, so I don't have much old stuff. I do have my wedding dress which is almost 6 years old. The oldest thing is probably J's though and since we share a closet that's my answer.

4. Do you whiten your teeth?

I use a whitening toothpaste.

5. Underwear or Panties... What do you call your unmentionables?

I really don't like the word panties.

6. If you could go on vacation.. right now.. today, where would you go?

And money was no object? And traveling with a baby was super easy? The Galapagos Islands to see the wildlife or Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears.

7. Do you get offended when people cuss on their blogs?

Hell no! Though if it's just swearing to swear I probably wouldn't follow them, but swearing is much less annoying to me than bad spelling or grammar.

8. If you had to give up one luxury item... it would be....?

I can't pick. If I have/use a luxury item it's because I want to. I don't have cable tv or a PVR... does that count?
